A terrifying horror film with twists and turns, The Hunters stars Dianna Agron (TV’s “Glee”) and Steven Waddington (Sleepy Hollow). After deciding to spend their last day together in a place that was once off limits, a group of high school friends find themselves hunted in the woods.

Lionsgate snatched up North American rights for “The Hunters,” a French psychological thriller toplining Steven Waddington (“Largo Winch”) and Dianna Agron (“Glee”).
Produced by Thomas Malmonte and Antoine Huet at Humal Prods, “The Hunters” follows five ordinary guys who get together on a hunting preserve and cross paths with an army vet-turned-manhunter.
The $3.5 million suspenser was mainly shot in Lorraine, where the filmmakers were able to raise a substantial portion of the budget from local business owners.

In celebration of the news I just posted about The Hunters being screened at the Gerardmer Film Festival, I have updated the gallery with some goodies from the film. I’ve added some low quality screencaptures of a behind the scenes feature, some new HQ and MQ stills, and the best treat of all – a couple site exclusive HQ photos of Dianna and the cast behind the scenes. These behind the scenes photos are rare and I ask that you please credit Adoring Dianna Agron if you wish to post them to your site/forum/tumblr/etc.

According to the official site, Dianna’s film The Hunters is part of the official selection of the 2011 Gerardmer Film Festival which is being held January 26-30th. The film will be screened on the 30th and is said to be represented by the director, the producers, and some of the cast. There is no mention if Dianna will be one of the cast members in attendance but with Glee currently filming, and her appearance at Hot Topic on the 29th, it’s unlikely she will be there. I will keep you all updated if I learn differently. I’m just hoping that this movie will soon see a release of some kind.
Amazing news guys! Dianna has a new upcoming movie called The Hunters. I found an short summary of what the movie will be about:
FIVE regular guys, they could be our colleagues, our neighbors, even our friends… Like us, the computer geek, the waiter, or the civil servant all suffer from life’s stresses. But, what is it about their lives that are so unlike ours? The ordinariness of their situations winds up making us uncomfortable, their silence is terrifying. Then one day, the viewer discovers the unmentionable secret… but it is too late. The unimaginable has become real. “The Hunters” is an original psychological thriller showing five ordinary citizens who have allowed them selves to fall totally outside of normal social behavior and have constructed an alternative world in their hunting grounds: an old military fort from the 19th century abandoned for decades. In this place evil becomes the norm and killing becomes commonplace. In the last two years, they have gone from stalking game, to hunting and butchering, in the dank halls of the fort, transforming the place into a temple of death. No one has ever survived. The viewer is pulled into the nightmare of “”The Hunters”" at an accelerated pace, in which the daily reality gets further away from the inexorable hell created by the hunters.
